Got this for heated trousers. Ppl say it can be hard to locate the ordinary controller. Installed app. When bt controller is power you just cycle through the power levels. V easy. The controller just needs power. It does not have to be on. It would be good if the app was digitally signed by Keis and not the developer. I have not used the controller yet on the bike so cannot comment on reliability.
After years of layering up in cold weather and giving the lads stick for wearing heated gear I’ve joined them. My only regret is not having done so a lot earlier in life.
Arthritis makes me prone to pain on cold rides, this jacked is warm even when unplugged, but comes with three heat settings. I also bought the G701 heated gloves which are superb and again three heat settings

Was debating between the Keis G01 and the Gerbing. Went with the Keis as it appeared to have better protection for the crash/slide. Also has separate temperature control on the glove itself. Fits my hand according to the size chart.

Gloves are breaking in nicely. Ive found that occasionally the inner does move/twist, if you hands are cold or wet they can be very difficult (almost impossible) to get on.
The cuff Velcro does up differently to all my other gloves and take a bit of getting use to but they arent too bulky to fit under the jackets cuff. The wrist strap is a bit short and slips out and regular needs re-threading which means you have to take the gloves off. Also the wrist strap could do with being further down the glove, and actually be around the wrist rather than the hand
The LED heat indicator is well place so its easy see. Heat wise they are good, even better when on 12v bike power. Visor wiper, even though it small, works wel

Heated Gloves G601
This is my second pair after the first word out. I ride daily in all weathers, mostly commuting up and down the M4. The first pair lasted me about 2.5 years, so good going for me.
I do however need to point out that the gender of the power socket has changed and I now need an adapter so they are once again compatible with my heated jacket (which I also recommend highly).
It would be nice if this was pointed out on the website.
No 5 star award though as some Muppet has decided to reduce the length of the rain wipe on the left finger. What was a really useful feature has been rendered almost useless. It still works but now takes 2 or 3 attempts to clear my Neo Text 2 visor, whereas the old style did it in 1.

Overall the Keis vest and gloves are excellent items for winter riding. They keep you warm when nothing else works, they are well made and wearing them feels pretty much like wearing any other motorcycle kit
