What is the benefit of heated inner gloves over heated gloves? - Sean Scott
Hi Sean, great question!
It really comes down to preference. Heated inner gloves are more affordable, slide under your existing gloves, and can also be used off the bike with everyday gloves. In comparison, our CE-rated heated motorcycle gloves provide an all-in-one solution, combining heating and protection that are specifically engineered for riding.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on how you ride, what gloves you already own, and how much flexibility you want.
Can the heated socks be used with out any other heated clothing? - Mark

Yes, KEIS heated socks can be used on their own. They are powered directly from the bike and you’ll need an extension lead to run the cable down your leg. For the most comfortable and efficient setup, we suggest combining them with T103 Heated Trousers.
Using heated socks on their own is a popular choice for riders who mainly suffer from cold feet rather than full body cold. As the heat is delivered directly to the areas most exposed to wind and reduced circulation, many riders find this setup more than sufficient for shorter journeys or milder winter conditions.
Riders can start with socks alone and expand their setup over time, building a fully integrated heated system as their riding needs evolve.
Are the KEIS jackets rated motorcycle jackets with provisions/pockets for armour; or are they predominantly only to be worn under a rated/armoured motorcycle jackets?

Hey Alan,
KEIS heated jackets are designed as undergarments and are not motorcycle-rated or armoured. They should be worn underneath a fully rated outer jacket to add warmth while maintaining protection, reducing the need for multiple bulky layers and helping preserve comfort and freedom of movement while riding.
Another advantage of using a heated under-jacket is warmth consistency. Traditional layering often leads to pressure points, restricted movement and uneven insulation. A heated jacket delivers controlled, even heat across the torso, helping maintain core temperature and reduce fatigue on longer rides or in cold conditions.

In the meantime, exploring other KEIS glove options can help bridge the gap. We recommend riders combine alternative heated gloves or inner gloves to stay warm until the EXTREME Gloves return.
Do you refurbish heated jackets? i.e. replace heated panels and wires - Richie Charlton

KEIS Heated Garments come with a lifetime warranty on the Heating Elements, so if there’s ever an issue with the heat panels, just get in touch and we’ll assess it for you. We also offer a straightforward, low-cost repair service for certain faults if they fall outside of warranty. My heated glove batteries don’t seem to last very long is that normal? - Nat

With our 12V 4000mAh batteries, you should typically see around 3 hours on a low setting or 2 hours on medium. If you regularly ride for longer periods, some riders carry a spare set of batteries or connect to the bike’s power supply for extended use.
