USING YOUR KEIS JACKET, VEST OR BODYWARMER
KEIS garments are all connected in a very similar way. Using leads and connectors, you can turn your Jacket, Vest or Bodywarmer into a central power hub for all other KEIS garments.
Powering The Garments:
You can power the garments either by using a battery connection or using the vehicle supply lead.
5000mAh Fast-Charge Battery – To use the portable battery, you will find an internal pocket on your jacket designed specifically for the KEIS batteries and along the bottom of the garment there is a zipped pocket. Open this and you will find a 12V supply cable which you can connect to the battery.
Vehicle Supply Lead – Connecting to the vehicle with a supply lead requires some mechanical knowledge of a motorcycle and you can follow our YouTube guide online to help with the installation. Once connected to the vehicle battery, open the zipped pocket inside your garment where you can find a 12V supply cable. Connect this cable to the supply lead to power your garment.
Turning On The Garments:
As standard, KEIS garments will relate to a “Link Lead” located in the front pocket. This will provide the garment with FULL POWER as soon as it is connected to a power source. You can also use an optional power controller to gain complete control of your garments heating.
Using the Power Controller - First, you will need to remove the link lead from the pocket located on the front of the garment. Once removed, take your power controller and connect it to the port making sure there is a full connection. Retain the original link lead for warranty purposes.
Now connected, you can press and hold the power button on your controller to turn on the garment. You can then short press the button to change the temperature. Long press again to turn off the garment.
WARNING: Do not leave your garments unattended when plugged into a power source. Please ensure you read the warning manual before using your garment and retain a copy for your own records.

Glove Batteries – Most gloves, excluding the G102 and G701 Shorty, include an integrated battery pocket to contain a portable battery. Our gloves are 12v Power excluding the G901s and G201s which both are dual power and can be used with both 7.4v and 12v batteries. To connect these batteries, simply place them into the battery pocket and connect the cable to the glove.

Jackets are fitted with cables located at the end of each arm to connect to your gloves, simply remove them from the zipped pocket and connect to the back of the battery. For vests and bodywarmers, you can use extension leads to connect to the socket located in the armpit and run them down the internal sleeves of your standard motorcycle outer layer.
