Our story

KEIS Heated Apparel was founded in the UK in 2004 with a single mission: to eliminate the limits that cold weather places on riders. From humble beginnings, with our first heated vest hand-sewn on the kitchen counter, KEIS has grown into one of the most trusted names in heated motorcycle clothing, leading the way in innovation and heated rider comfort.

Our journey

2004
Founded in the UK
Our first heated vest is hand-sewn on a kitchen counter, with one aim: to stop the cold deciding when and where riders can ride.
2020–2021
KEIS goes online
Our online store opens in August with the G601 Heated Touring Gloves, G102 Heated Inner Gloves and G801 Heated Gloves. The V501 Heated Vest and B501W Ladies Bodywarmer follow in September, with a full line-up of power leads, plugs and heat controllers by the end of the year.
2021–2022
Head to toe
Heat reaches every part of the rider. August brings the G701S 'Shorty' and G301 'Lobster' gloves, the S302 Heated Socks and the T103 Heated Trousers.
2022–2023
More power off the bike
Portable power grows with the 12V 4000mAh glove battery set and new chargers, plus chargers and splitter leads that keep gloves made before 2020 on the road.
2023–2024
The ULTRAFLEX arrives
Launched in September, the J601 ULTRAFLEX Heated Jacket pairs four-way stretch with a close, flexible fit under your riding jacket. It is an instant hit with riders and quickly becomes our best seller.
2024–2025
20 years and a new identity
Two decades of heated riding kit, marked with a refreshed logo, a redesigned website, new packaging and an updated design ethos.

The G901 EXTREME
After the ULTRAFLEX come the G901 EXTREME Heated Gloves, built for serious winter riding. The range grows around them with the J505 EXTREME and J501 jackets, the B601 ULTRAFLEX Bodywarmer and the 12V 5000mAh battery.
2025–2026
Warmth wherever you sit
October adds the G201 Heated Inner Gloves, the 7.4V 6000mAh glove battery set for longer runs off the bike, and the Heated Motorcycle Cushion, our first heated seat.

An award-winning range
Heated jackets, vests, gloves, trousers and socks, recommended by ABR, Bennetts, BikeSocial, MCN and Ride, and relied on by riders from daily commuters to long-distance adventurers.

The re-brand

In 2024, KEIS entered a bold new chapter. With a refreshed logo, a redesigned website, upgraded packaging and an updated design ethos, our re-brand was more than a new look: it was a statement of intent.

It was driven by our commitment to innovation, clarity and rider-first design, so that KEIS not only performs at the highest level but stands at the forefront of the heated apparel industry.

The new KEIS identity reflects how the brand has grown: modern, technical and uncompromising, while staying true to our roots of empowering riders against the cold.
