What can KEIS batteries power?
We do not recommend using the 5000mAh battery to power multiple garments simultaneously. While it technically supports 12V output, it has a 6A maximum current limit, which means powering more than one garment, such as a jacket and gloves together, can quickly exceed this limit. Doing so can lead to significantly reduced run times, performance drops, or even damage to the battery. For multi garment setups, a direct bike connection is the safer and more efficient option.
The 7.4V batteries offer longer run times thanks to their higher capacity and lower voltage, but they deliver a gentler heat output compared to the 12V versions. They are ideal for riders who value longer lasting warmth over intense heat, especially when off the bike.
The set includes a USB-C charging cable that allows both batteries to be charged at once via a wall adapter, USB port, or power bank. Charging typically takes 4 to 5 hours, and we recommend using a high quality USB-C power source for the most efficient results, such as our 30W fast charger, sold separately.
How long do KEIS batteries last on a charge?
The LCD capacity display shows a real time percentage readout of the battery’s remaining charge. This is far more accurate than traditional LED indicators and allows you to better plan when to recharge, especially helpful on longer rides or trips where access to power may be limited.

5000mAh BatteryHow long does it take to fully charge the 5000mAh battery?
When using the KEIS 30W Fast Charger, sold separately, the battery can fully charge in approximately 3 to 4 hours, depending on the remaining charge and ambient temperature. Using a lower wattage charger or non fast charging USB source will increase charging time significantly. The USB-C port enables fast input, and the included cable ensures you have the right connection straight out of the box.
7.4V 6000mAh Gloves Battery SetAre these batteries compatible with all KEIS heated gloves?
The 7.4V batteries are compatible with the G201, G601, G701, and G901 gloves. They are not compatible with the G301, which is not designed for a lower voltage power source, or the G701S, which has no battery pocket. Your gloves must have an alphabetical batch number (ABCD). These batteries are not compatible with gloves that have a numerical batch number (1234).
12v 4000mAh Gloves Battery SetAre these batteries compatible with all KEIS heated gloves?
No, these batteries are only compatible with KEIS glove models that feature dedicated internal battery pockets, including the G201, G301, G601, G701, G801, and G901. They are not compatible with the G102 or G701S gloves, as those models do not have built in compartments for battery storage.

The battery is compatible with all 12V KEIS heated jackets, bodywarmers, vests, gloves, and trousers, including the latest ULTRAFLEX and EXTREME ranges. However, run time varies significantly depending on the garment’s power draw. For example, bodywarmers may run for up to 10 hours on low, while high power jackets like the J505 EXTREME may run for only around 1 hour on medium power.

Charging is simple using the included USB-C cable, and each battery has an LED indicator to show red for charging and green for fully charged. This makes it easy to keep track of battery levels and ensures you're always ready for your next ride or adventure.
12v 4000mAh Gloves Battery SetCan I use these batteries while connected to my motorcycle at the same time?
No, the gloves should be powered either by the internal batteries or by a 12V bike connection, not both simultaneously. Attempting to connect both power sources at once may damage the electrical components of the glove or battery system.

5000mAh BatteryWhat does the E2 error code mean and how can I fix it?
This error code is present when the battery is being overcharged with a current higher than 6A, which is the max deliverable power of the battery. In order to solve this battery error code, simply reset the battery by holding down the power button. Ensure your charger is not short circuited, as this could cause a spike in power delivery, and if the issue persists contact our customer service team.
