Excellent gloves

Bought a pair of the G201’s from Keis. Quick delivery, great packaging and quality. Gloves were a good fit. Easy to add batteries or wire direct to my bike. Fit well under my outer gloves and are really warm. Great product.

Great outdoor product, a too bulky with batteries on a motorcycle. Watch out for a very tight cuff.

I can see great use for these where people have no access to vehicle power, e.g. horse riders, walkers etc. These and a light pair of woollen gloves will be superb. The battery life advertised is real and I can't fault that. For my use on a motorcycle the batteries create a very bulky cuff. Add a winter motorcycle glove and the cuff area becomes too bulky. This creates a problem in the rain where you will struggle to get the cuff of your textile jacket over this. Your jacket must go over them in the rain otherwise you will just flood your motorcycle gloves with rain running down your arms. Secondly the cuff area of the actual G201, once fitted with a battery becomes extremely tight, this material is not that flexible (even though there is a stretch panel) It makes the putting on and removal of the liner a bit of a tug, I would worry about the longevity of the internal wiring given you have to pull so hard to remove them. I ended up removing the battery from the pocket and had it held between my base layer and mid layer in an effort to create more space at the cuff area. The fit on my hand and fingers is just fine, even a little loose, it's not like I have purchased a small size for my hand. So given this cuff fit and the preference to power from the bike rather than the batteries (because of bulk) I would point a buyer back to the earlier non-battery, bike or Keis garment powered cuffless G102 heated glove liners. I have had a pair of these for many years and never had an issue. If you power the old G102 by the bike I would recommend the lightweight controller too. Not required for this newer G201 as they have the onboard controller. Note: these glove liners immediately come on even with the controller off when connected to the bike, be careful not to leave them plugged in when away from the bike. In summary, generally a good product, buy large in the hope the cuff is wider, use for outdoors with thinner less bulky casual gloves. If on a motorcycle don't use the battery solution.

Hi Terry!

Thank you for your honest feedback of these gloves! We will be sure to feed back these points to our development team for future versions of the inner glove. It is worth noting, the new G201 can also be powered by the motorcycle battery without any portable battery through the 12v system of course this will be much warmer as the voltage jumps from 7.4v to 12v but running on a low setting is suitable.

That said, we really apreciate the full review and will make sure these points are raised for future versions of the gloves!

Many Thanks
The KEIS Apparel Team

Questions fréquentes

Can I wear the G201s under my existing motorcycle gloves?

Yes, absolutely. The G201s are purpose-built as inner gloves and feature a super-thin, spandex material that fits snugly to your hand. This makes them ideal for layering underneath most summer and winter motorcycle gloves, allowing you to enjoy added warmth without compromising on grip, feel, or protection.

How are the gloves powered?

The G201s can be powered in two ways. For motorcycle use, they connect directly to your bike's 12V battery system using the appropriate KEIS power supply lead. For off-bike use, each glove includes a discreet integrated battery pocket that fits a compact rechargeable KEIS battery, giving you total freedom and flexibility wherever you go. We recommend pairing them with the KEIS 7.4V 6000mAh Gloves Battery Set.

How long do the gloves stay warm on battery power?

Battery life depends on the capacity of the battery pack used, the voltage and the heat setting. Use the battery run time calculator on the product page for an estimated run time with different batteries.

Do they heat the whole hand or just the back?

The G201s go further than many standard heated gloves by using ultra thin carbon fibre heating elements that wrap around each individual finger. This design provides full hand warmth, not just on the back of the hand, helping to combat cold fingers and improving overall comfort and circulation.

Are they waterproof?

The G201s themselves are not waterproof, but they’re designed to be worn underneath your existing waterproof motorcycle or winter gloves. This way, you get the best of both worlds: the outer glove keeps out rain and wind, while the G201s deliver consistent heat where you need it most.

Are these gloves suitable for people with Raynaud’s disease?

Yes, they are an excellent choice for people with Raynaud's disease, a condition that causes the fingers to feel cold or numb due to restricted blood flow. The G201s provide consistent, gentle heat directly to each finger, helping to keep hands warm even in freezing temperatures.

Can I machine wash them?

No, the G201s contain integrated heating elements and electrical components, so they should not be machine washed or submerged in water. To clean them, simply wipe them down gently with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry. Always ensure the gloves are disconnected from any power source before cleaning.
