V501 Chaleco Calefactable

This is by far the best piece of kit I have purchased for a long long time! Last week a buddy of mine and I went on a Baltic countries adv adventure and the vest kept me warm even when the temp dropped down to 3 degrees on our way back through Finland. It's light and thin and you hardly notice it under the jacket. It heats up in seconds and the heat is evenly distributed over the whole vest. When connected to Hex Ezcan on a BMW (R1250GS) the heating levels are controlled by the button for the heated grips, so it's fully integrated into the bike's system which makes it simply brilliant!

These are great for keeping you snug on long rides, especially on the motorway when the wind chill takes effect. I've had mine for years and it's still going strong. I'd suggest the three position controller as opposed to the on/off version because even on the middle setting it can be too warm unless it's very cold outside. Essential cold weather riding kit IMO.

I purchased the heated vest, since getting a Tiger 1215 SE and after many years of fellow riders, telling me how good they were...
After the first ride with it on, I came straight home and purchased the matching under trousers..
So easy to use, fits great under other clothing and very controllable.
I will not ride without it now...

Originally, I thought I would have to buy heated clothing from a well-known American company and have to pay shipping costs. Fortunately, this was avoided by finding Keis Heated Apparel. My order was quickly acknowledged. The goods were extremely swiftly delivered and they were well packaged. The presentation box is too good to throw away! A lot of thought has gone into the garment I bought which was the premium heated vest with controller. It appears to be well constructed with attention to detail: For example, there are power supply points for additional Keiss heated accessories and the controller and battery can be tucked out of sight. The vest is a good size fit and comfortable to wear. I am glad that there are clear instructions and illustrations about how to charge the battery and set up the jacket with power. It is reassuring to see that safety instructions are highlighted. Thanks to Keis I am looking forward to wearing this vest in the cold weather and making future purchases from Keis.
