Keis Bonded-Textile Heated Motorcycle Gloves - G701

Using the latest technology in both heat generation and all-weather comfort, our all-new G701 Heated Motorcycle Gloves have a Ballistic Spandex outer shell with a semi bonded Hipora™ waterproof and breathable membrane for outstanding comfort and performance in all conditions.

If you are looking for all the benefits of these Bonded-Textile Heated Gloves, but a shorter (more compact) cuff, and without the need of ever powering the gloves via a set of glove batteries (which go into special battery pockets built into the glove cuff), we recommend trying the alternative G701S 'Shorty' Bonded-Textile Heated Motorcycle Gloves.

What are the benefits of a Bonded-Textile glove?

The outer hydrophobic (water repellent) textile is attached to the Hipora waterproof layer using strategically placed bonding tape in the palm, fingers and top areas of the gloves. During the manufacturing process the gloves are exposed to extreme heat around the bonding tape, thereby causing it to fuse the layers together.

This makes a glove with dramatically reduced movement in between the layers - perfect for maximum feel and direct control of the motorcycle controls. Keis G701 Bonded-Textile Heated Gloves feel like a second skin, reducing any ‘lag’ between the movement of your hands and the controls.

Included with these motorcycle gloves are: (in all various options)

What are the benefits of a Bonded-Textile glove?

The outer hydrophobic (water repellent) textile is attached to the Hipora waterproof layer using strategically placed bonding tape in the palm, fingers and top areas of the gloves. During the manufacturing process the gloves are exposed to extreme heat around the bonding tape, thereby causing it to fuse the layers together.

This makes a glove with dramatically reduced movement in between the layers - perfect for maximum feel and direct control of the motorcycle controls. Keis G701S 'Shorty' Bonded-Textile Heated Gloves feel like a second skin, reducing any ‘lag’ between the movement of your hands and the controls.

If you are looking for all the benefits of these Bonded-Textile Heated Gloves, but you prefer a heated motorcycle glove with less material 'bulk' around the cuff - to fit under the cuffs of your motorcycle outer jacket - then the G701S 'Shorty' Heated Gloves may be better suited to your needs. This heated motorcycle glove does not have the option of using glove batteries, as the G701S 'Shorty' Heated Gloves do not feature glove battery pockets within each glove cuff.

What is the palm material made from? It looks like leather.

The palm is made from a high quality synthetic leather. This material provides the benefits of a fine leather-look, but has better production features… as well as being more ethical.

The outer is indicated to be made from Ballistic Spandex and Nylon. What is meant by this?

The outer is made from a material comprised of Ballistic Nylon, infused with Spandex. The Ballistic Nylon provide the super strength and durability, while the spandex the elasticity for comfortable, frictionless movement.

Our heated motorcycle gloves also benefit from 3M Thinsulate™ insulation, for comfortable warmth even when the heated gloves are not powered up.

Connect & power

Power these heated motorcycle gloves from the motorcycle or via a Keis heated upper-body garment (a Keis heated jacket, bodywarmer, or vest)

Using the latest technology in heat generation, the G701 gloves can be powered from a 12V vehicle battery (cables supplied), from the power leads connected from a Keis Heated Bodywarmer or Vest, directly from a Keis Heated Jacket with power output leads built into each jacket arm, or the specially designed Glove Batteries what fit into the cuff pocket of each glove.

The G701 Premium Bonded-Textile Heated Gloves come with the vehicle supply lead to power from a 12V motorcycle battery.

Connecting the supplied motorcycle power lead is quick and easy.

Please Note: All our Gloves come complete with everything required to power them independently from a motorcycle.  However, our Heated Vests and Bodywarmers incorporate integrated power sockets specifically to power Keis Heated Gloves using optional connection leads. Our Keis Heated Jacket will also power our Heated Gloves via a lead in the sleeves.

Powering your heated gloves from an optional single Portable Battery Pack

Powering your heated gloves from the optional Keis Glove Battery Set

The optional Keis 12V Glove Batteries can be installed into the battery pockets of each glove, and connected to the glove's power input plug.

Powering your heated gloves from a Keis heated vest, or heated Bodywarmer

This would require the purchase of a 'Glove to Vest/Bodywarmer Power Lead set' which is not supplied with your gloves.

Cleaning Guidelines

  • Our recommended method for cleaning both our leather and fabric outer gloves is to wipe the outside of the gloves with a cloth moistened with a solution prepared from S100 Technical Fabric and Leather Wash.
  • Repeat, rinsing and wringing out the cloth regularly in clean solution until the gloves appear clean.
  • Wipe over with a cloth moistened in plain water and allow to dry thoroughly at room temperature.
  • Finally apply S100 reproofing Spray for Fabric and Leather.  We do not recommend immersion in water or washing in a washing machine.

Love them

As a daily motorway, motorbike commuter I've tried loads of extreme Winter gloves, some good, some not-so-great. So, after struggling in early December, I decided to finally go for the heated glove option. At first I wasn't blown away because I hadn't learnt the proper charging procedure & found the batteries draining too quickly & was thinking of returning, but once I cracked it I've been really impressed. I only put them on below 8c and even then only on the LOW setting. I went to MEDIUM once when it was -2. They are comparable to my best Richa winter gloves even without the heating on. Will be put away in April once temperatures rise. Very happy with them. Bye bye frozen fingers.

I would like them to be hotter!

I was originally going to buy the short gloves but discovered that the cuff of my jacket was the approximately the same as the glove so there was no overlap, so I bought the longer model which go outside my jacket cuff.
I have worn them on several occasions when the temperature has been between about 5 & 12.
When worn in temperatures around 5 to 10 degrees these gloves on their own are not sufficient and I need to use heated grips and/or hand guards.

A review on my Keis G701 gloves [part 1]

I bought these gloves after suffering a heart attack & finding that because my blood is thinner I could not ride my bike without being a danger to myself & other road users. Why these ones? Well they are a new range out that took my fancy after reading all about them. I have nearly always bought leather gloves, but recently with new innovation from around the world for all sorts of items, these gloves seem to fit the bill. Why? They won’t crack or stay wet because they don’t have any manmade materials in them. Is that good? Well yes. Being made of a bonded textile they won’t become all soggy or split when they dry out. You will have to go to the website WWW.KEISAPPAREL.COM (all in lower case) to read a much longer review than I can write here. All I can say is look at the pictures. I went for these gloves because they will let me ride all my bikes be it in a different way. Some I will use the batteries in the back of the hand, the other 2 options are to use the bikes battery or have a battery like a power bank (that can live in a jacket pocket) like you use for when you need to top up your phone when on holiday. So 3 ways!
